Amble Puffin Festival events for 2017

Stand up Paddleboard taster sessions

Samba drumming and workshops
10am-12.30, 1.30pm-4pm in the Town Square. 2pm- 2.45pm on Queen Street

 

Football based activity
at Welfare with Tiny Woods Football Academy Starts 10.00 hrs. Refreshments by Amble Community Team and Tiny Woods. Visitors are invited to bring their children (key stage 1 and 2) along to join in. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Go-canoeing with Coquet Shorebase Trust
Come and try it at Ladyburn Lake, Druridge Bay. £3 per head (approx 20 mins on water). Just turn up. Buoyancy aids provided, no need to fall in the water, but clothing is likely to get wet. Wide range of boats suitable for beginners, etc. All ages: parental consent required for U16s.

Explore the Coquet Estuary by canoe/kayak
Meet at Coquet Shorebase Trust. No previous experience needed. We take the rising tide up to Warkworth, returning with the ebb, and our guides will look after you and talk about the river and its past. Booking advisable. Ring 01665 710367

Join Amble RNLI for the official naming of the new Shannon lifeboat “Elizabeth & Leonard”. At the Quayside
